Lancaster General College Soccer, a club sport open to students, faculty, staff, and alumni of LGC. After a successful outdoor season in Spring 2006, we have played indoors at Lanco Fieldhouse ever since, and were
Lanco Fieldhouse Champions during Spring 2007.
WOMEN'S SOCCER, COED SOCCER, MEN'S SOCCER. The College is willing to field women's teams, coed teams, and/or men's teams. Most seasons we field women's teams because most of our students are women and it is easier to find enough players to field a team. But when sufficient interest exists, we will field coed teams or men's teams.
LANCO FIELDHOUSE SEASONS. We play at Lanco Fieldhouse in East Petersburg, which offers eight-week seasons beginning in September, November, January, March, May, and July. We generally play in the September-October season and again in the January-February season or the March-April season. It all depends on the interest and dedication of the players.
GETTING TEAMS ORGANIZED. Everything you need to know is below. We normally organize teams about a month before each season. Watch the Weekly Emails for announcements and contact one of our co-coordinators (below) to indicate your interest.

WANT TO PLAY SOCCER? Students, faculty, staff, and alumni interested in playing should send email to our co-coordinator:

They will contact you to confirm your interest and keep you in the loop as the next season approaches. All schedules and game reports will come via email.
ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible, you must be a student, staff, faculty, or alumni of Lancaster General College, and you must submit a completed
Athletics Registration Form. You may not play until you have submitted your form to one of the three co-coordinators listed above. Forms can be submitted via intercampus mail at 410 Lime or 549 Lime.
GAME SCHEDULES: Game schedules are available on the
Lanco Fieldhouse website (normally at the last possible moment). They will also be communicated to you via email. There are no practices.
CONFIRMING YOUR PARTICIPATION: As you receive emails letting you know that the season is approaching, please confirm your intent to participate with one of the co-coordinators listed above.
ON GAME DAY: On Game Days, please come to the game! The existence of this program depends on the good will of the Vice President for Student Affairs, sponsor of the program. Forfeits are frowned upon!
FREE T-SHIRT. All players will receive a College t-shirt. You must provide your own shorts, socks, shoes, and shinguards. Appropriate shoes for the Fieldhouse include turf shoes or cleats.

Every televised soccer game in the US is listed on http://www.livesoccertv.com/fixtures.php. Scroll down their site to see the listings; network names are in red text. If you have cable in the Lancaster area, you are likely to get ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Telemundo, Univision, and Comcast Mid-Atlantic. You can safely ignore the other listings.

From the College: Go north on Lime Street and pick up Route 72 towards Lebanon. Proceed roughly five miles into East Petersburg. After passing a large number of car dealers, and before reaching downtown East Pete, turn left on Miller Road (the intersection includes a stop light, a large convenience store, and an ice cream shop). Lanco Fieldhouse is half a block ahead, on the right.
