Lancaster General has long been committed to healthcare education. The School of Nursing celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2003 and the Allied Health programs have been part of the institute's educational programs since the 1960s. The last few years have seen these programs come together as Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
