Application Fee Waived for Specific Programs
The College is currently waiving the $60 admissions application fee for students applying to the first year of our associate degree programs in Cardiovascular Invasive Specialty, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Respiratory Care, and Surgical Technology.    These fees will be waived from now until March 1, 2010
We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, because spaces in these programs are limited!
 
Accepting Applications for the NEW Health Sciences Baccalaureate Degree

Accepting Applications for the NEW RN to BSN Program
The College is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for this NEW accelerated RN to BSN program.  Seats are available in both morning and evening cohorts.  Start dates are as follows:

H1N1 Emergency Preparedness Plan
The College has put together an emergency plan in preparation for possible course disruption due to illness among students and faculty.  For more information about the plan click here

Accepting Applications.  We are currently accepting applications for January 2010 preclinical students as well as the clinical start of the respiratory program.  We are also accepting applications for the fall of 2010 daytime and evening/weekend nursing programs.  Please contact the Admissions Office for more information.

Mammography Course Offered
Lancaster General College is offering a 5 week Mammography course beginning in April, 2010. The course is offered in an accelerated format (requiring both in class and on line coursework) on Thursday evenings from 5 to 9 pm beginning on April 15, 2010 and lasting until May 13, 2010. This course is designed to provide ARRT certified radiologic technologists with the knowledge required for advance certification in mammography.  For more information, including how to register for this course click here.
 
Lancaster General College Career Exploration Days
If you are undecided about your college major, a Career Exploration Day visit may be for you.  On these days, students receive a more in-depth look and overview of each of our academic programs.  Career Exploration Days run from 9:00am until 11:30am, and advance registration is required as space is limited.  Our next Career Exploration day is Friday, February 5, 2010.  Use our Event Registration Form  to register.

Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health Sciences is a private college dedicated to the education of healthcare workers. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the College is located in Lancaster, PA.  Admissions is open to students with the interest, desire and ability to pursue a healthcare program.
