Target Audience: For the simulation savvy to the those just getting started, this course is designed to help participants learn to create an effective learning environment for their participants. With application to faculty, staff development, and team building skills; this course will deliver. Attendees with learn how to create basic and advanced simulation sessions designed to meet their goals and learners’ needs.
Objectives: This course was designed to help healthcare educators learn some of the best practices research has shown for use in simulation learning. Simulation is an active learning, immersive educational tool . When used effectively it can promote skills preparation, build team communication and enhance dynamics, promote safety, and improve learner outcomes among much more—all while being done in a safe and fun environment. From high fidelity to patient actors, its all part of simulation. Come join us and learn where the world of simulation can take your practices.
