Applicants to the BS in Healthcare Administration program must meet the following requirements:
• High school graduate or General Equivalency Diploma with a minimum of 16 high school units including: four units of English; one unit of Biology; one unit of a science with a lab; and two units of Algebra. Post secondary college level equivalents will be considered to fulfill the high school requirements.
• Satisfactory achievement of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) administered by the College Entrance Examination Board OR the American College Assessment Program (ACT) administered by the American College Testing Program. These exams are NOT required if more than two years have elapsed since graduation from high school or earning of the GED.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0/4.0 and SAT combined reading and math scores of 1000 or greater are preferred.
• Three recommendations from teachers, guidance counselors, college advisors, professors, employers, or community/organizational leaders.
• Additional factors will be considered in the admission process, including but not limited to: class rank; academic performance in secondary or college level math and science courses; community service; healthcare related service or work; and employment history.
