Dr. Hershey is the chair and full-time faculty for the RN to BSN
Program. Her research interests include professionalism,
socialization into the profession of nursing, and adult education.
She was the 2008 recipient of the Excellence in Nursing Research
Award through Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society,
Xi Chi Chapter. She is involved in multiple committees at the
College, serves on the Board of Directors Xi Chi Chapter of
Sigma Theta Tau, serves on the advisory board of Lancaster Career
and Technology Program, LPN Program, and actively volunteers
at her church and in the community.
Dee (Dolores) Minchhoff, MS, FNP-BC, RN

Mrs. Minchhoff is an assistant professor at the College
in the Division of Nursing. Her teaching responsibilities
are in the RN to BSN Program. Mrs. Minchhoff is
beginning work on her doctorate in fall 2009. She serves
on several committees at the College and is involved with
her professional organizations including Pa Nurse
District 16, Pa State Nurses CE Reviewer,
Xi Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau (the nurses honor
Society), and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
Mrs. Minchhoff is a volunteer for Hospice of Lancaster
County and serves on committees at her church.
Kristen Zulkosky, PhD, RN, CCRN
Full-time faculty, ASN and RN to BSN Program
PhD in Nursing Education, University of Northern Colorado.
Master of Science in Nursing, Villanova University. Nursing Administration track with a clinical focus in adult health.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bloomsburg University.
Dr. Zulkosky is an assistant professor at the College in the Division of Nursing. She teaches 4th semester ASN students in the clinical practicum environment and two courses in the RN to BSN program; Teaching and Learning for the Nursing Professional and Nursing Research. Dr. Zulkosky‘s research interest lies in the area of using simulation in the classroom. Dr. Zulkosky serves on the ASN evaluation and simulation committees. She is also the chair of the Nursing Policy committee at the College. She is a member of several professional organizations: Sigma Theta Tau (Honor Society of Nursing), American Association for Critical-Care Nurses, International Nursing Association for Clinical Nursing Simulation. She maintains her CCRN certification. Dr. Zulkosky currently serves as the secretary for Xi Chi chapter of STTi, volunteers at her church as a parish nurse, and serves as a Girl Scout leader.
Rita E. Mullen Wise, D.Ed., MSN, RN

Dr. Wise is an instructor at the College in the Division of Nursing. She teaches third semester ASN students in the clinical practicum and teaches in the RN to BSN program. Dr. Wise has taught for eleven years and has a wealth of teaching experience within the academic setting. Her research interests revolve around topics dealing with how best to assist students in achieving academic success. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses and the National League for Nursing. She serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Nursing Education Perspectives.
Dr. Wise is active in her community serving within the Parent-Teacher Organization and assisting with religious education within her church. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her husband and children. In addition, she is a member of the Berks County Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.
