Applicants are reviewed on a regular basis and advised of their status by letter. Cohort/class assignments are based on seat availability. Applicants may be accepted to the program and take general education courses prior to cohort/class placement. Upon acceptance to the College, applicants must submit a non-refundable enrollment fee by the date stated in the enrollment form.
Prior to starting NUR302 students must complete the following:
• Criminal history information check and child abuse history clearance report must be issued less than 6 months before beginning courses in the major. The applicant is responsible for submitting the forms with the required processing fees. The reports will be kept in a confidential file to meet regulatory requirements.
• History and physical examination, laboratory tests and immunizations.
• Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) healthcare provider course offered by the American Heart Association.
• Passing of urine drug screen (Student will be notified of dates for urine drug testing by the Employee and Student Health RN & Counselor).
• Liability / Malpractice Insurance
