Shuttle Service to Campus
The College provides shuttle service for all students from the Burle Industries parking lot to Lancaster General Hospital and the College. Located within minutes of the campus, the Burle Industries parking lot provides hassle-free parking with 24-hour security.

Shuttle Hours
Shuttle hours vary depending on the academic calendar. Current shuttle hours are communicated via weekly email to students, faculty, and staff, and are posted around the College campus. The shuttle does not run when the College is closed, including weekends, holidays, and between semesters.
Clinical Transportation
A variety of experiences are provided in community agencies. Students are responsible for their own transportation and incidental expenses incurred during assignments in cooperating agencies and on field trips. Public transportation is available to many sites.
Housing
Students seeking housing or shared living have several options while attending Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health Sciences. Student apartments, located within three blocks of the College and Lancaster General Hospital, are owned and maintained through Alliance Properties, a property management affiliate of the Lancaster General Health system. These one and two bedroom apartments are leased to current students, interns, and doctoral residents. In addition, the College works closely with City View Apartments, a newly renovated apartment building located one block from the College and two blocks from Lancaster General Hospital. These one and two bedroom apartments include all new appliances, cabinets, flooring, and the property features Card Key access, security cameras, a fitness room, and on-site coin operated laundry facilities.
Many additional housing options are available within walking distance to the College and Lancaster General Hospital. For information and listing from independent landlords and property management companies in the area, students can review the classified section of www.lancasteronline.com, the on-line classified section of the Lancaster Newspaper, as well as www.Craigslist.org for updated listings.
In addition, accepted students are given access to our online Student Community bulletin board, where students can reach others who may be interested in housing or shared living. Information posted on this forum is available and accessible by everyone in the student community.
