The Center for Clinical Education is pleased to announce the Perioperative Nursing 101 Course. This course educates nurses to function within the Perioperative Services area. A combination of didactic as well as clinical rotations throughout the main OR is followed by additional experiences in the Perioperative Services division to which the nurse has been hired. Classes are offered on an as-needed basis.

The Center for Clinical Education provides education throughout the clinical units of the Lancaster General system. Clinical Education meets the educational needs of the staff through a variety of instructional modalities. Educational opportunities provided by the Center include Nursing Competencies, Nursing Orientation, Newsletters, Patient Care Assistant, Perioperative Nursing, and Preceptor Education.
