The Center for Clinical Education provides orientation for all nurses entering the Lancaster General system. Nursing Orientation takes place on a monthly basis and is conducted for six days over a two week period.

About the Center for Clinical Education...
The Center for Clinical Education provides education throughout the clinical units of the Lancaster General system.  Clinical Education meets the educational needs of the staff through a variety of instructional modalities.  Educational opportunities provided by the Center include Nursing Competencies, Nursing Orientation, Newsletters, Patient Care Assistant, Perioperative Nursing, and Preceptor Education.  Links to all of the above may be found on the left side of this page.  In addition , the Center offers many more courses directed towards Nursing and other clinical competencies for clinical staff of LG.  All such courses can be found in the Catalog of CoursesFor more information, contact Kurt Doan, kbdoan@lancastergeneralcollege.edu
