Management in a Box:
Promoting Performance Development within Teams
 
The Management in a Box online resource was developed in response to the requests of Lancaster General managers and leaders who wanted to provide customized training on an as-needed basis for their staff. Four topics are available, with links further down this page:
  • Managing Conflict

  • Dealing With Difficult People
Benefits of Management in a Box
These modules enable you to:
  • Deliver the training at your choice of locations.
  • Deliver the training at your choice of time (meeting the needs of all shifts).
  • Deliver the training as many times as necessary to members of your unit.
  • Customize the training to meet your schedule – modules can be broken into sections and delivered over a period of time; select sections of modules can be used as stand-alone training.
Components of the Modules
The components of each module provide the facilitator with all the necessary instructions, information and materials to conduct a training session.  Each Leadership in a Box module has four components:
  • PowerPoint slides.
  • Facilitator guide.
  • Handouts.
  • Evaluation.
