The Leadership Education program in the Center for Leadership, Management & Innovation offers four levels of leadership programming.  Details are available in the brief descriptions below, coupled with detailed descriptions on the individual program pages (see the links on the left side of this page).

Aspiring Leader
The Aspiring Leader program is designed for informal leaders in our organization who are interested in advancement to a formal leadership role within the LG organization.

New Leader
The New Leader Orientation – specifically designed for those who are new to the role of leadership at Lancaster General. New Leader participants include long-term Lancaster General employees who are new to a leadership role, as well as novice to experienced leaders who recently joined LG.

Developing Leader
The Developing Leader program is for those who have completed New Leader Orientation. These leaders are individuals with primary responsibility for the day to day operation of a department, unit or practice; long and short term strategic planning and have direct supervision of others.

Operational Leader
Four workshops comprise the Operational Leader program. Target audience for these workshops are Department Heads, Nurse Managers, Practice Managers and other managers with at least 3 to 5 years experience. Participants need to be recommended to this program by their Vice Presidents.

Voices of Leadership
The Voices of Leadership series presents podcasts in which you can listen to our Executive Leaders and Board of Trustees and learn how they inspire, influence and achieve results. Our first interview was conducted with Tom Beeman, President and CEO of Lancaster General. Subsequent interviews will be posted on a quarterly basis.
