Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences
The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS) Program is designed to advance the learner’s critical thinking, communication skills, theoretical knowledge, and professional development. The BSHS program prepares the graduate for advanced clinical practice and /or leadership and management roles within the professional discipline. This program offers practicing health professionals the opportunity to pursue a clinical management track or clinical education and practice track.

• Small class size of approximately 20 students to increase opportunities to develop relationships with peers and share experiences.
• Classes meet one day a week for four hours
• Five week courses (with a few exceptions)
• Accelerated format allows completion in approximately
two years

Dual EnrollmentAssociate degree students of the Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health Sciences have dual enrollment into the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences for a period of one year after graduation. Students will be required to complete a
Letter of Intent prior to graduation indicating the desire to pursue a baccalaureate degree and must begin classes within one year of graduation. Students who elect to pursue baccalaureate education after this time must complete a baccalaureate application.
