Objectives
This multifaceted conference is designed for professionals in the Neonatal Intensive Care field. Our main goal is to provide the latest information on current trends in the care of neonates. Topics presented will span from ante partum screening to support and care of the family unit. Participants will hear from nurses, neonatologists, an occupational therapist and hospital chaplain. Specific objectives:

Identify respiratory conditions causing acute and chronic problems for the neonate

State 5 criteria used to establish a preterm infant’s gestational age

Review recognition and management strategies for various congenital malformations

Classify various neonatal cardiovascular disorders and their respective management

Design a plan of care for common issues faced by preterm neonates and their families

Utilize test-taking tips tailored for the NCC exam

Shuttle Service:
All participants are encouraged to shuttle from Women and Babies Hospital to Shaarai Shomayim Synagogue due to a lack of parking at the Synagogue. Service to the Synagogue will be provided at 07:30 daily. Return service will be provided at 16:30.
