Speaker:
Lisa A. Miller CNM, JD brings over twenty years of experience in OB along with a unique legal viewpoint! A former professor of OB/GYN at Northwestern University School of Medicine, Lisa is internationally renowned as a legal expert in OB and Fetal Monitoring. Lisa has a busy midwifery practice, consults in risk management, and does expert case review for both defendants and plaintiffs. She is active in AWHONN, has served on the national bylaws committee of the American College of Nurse Midwifery, is a member of the American Nurses association as well as the American Bar association and the Illinois State Bar Association. She is widely published and is in constant demand both nationally and internationally for medical and legal seminars. Lisa knows from experience how fetal monitoring impacts today's OB lawsuits.
