It is the intention of Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences to offer educational opportunities to anyone who has the interest, desire and ability to pursue a healthcare program offered by the College. The College seeks a diverse range of information to evaluate applicants. This information includes past and present academic performance, letters of recommendation, aptitude tests, writing samples and prior healthcare experience. The College seeks individuals who demonstrate qualities of scholarship, motivation and commitment to academic and personal growth.
Admission is competitive with specific academic standards for each program of study. Developmental courses for remedial studies are not offered by the College. The Admissions Committee reserves the right to deny admission or readmission to any applicant if, in the opinion of the Admission Committee members, his/her admission is not in the best interest of the student or the College.
Equal opportunity for admission is offered without regard to age, race, religion, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability, national origin or other legally protected classifications.
