Open Registration for Fall Semester Begins June 9
Anyone who is not currently a student at the College can begin making an appointment with the Registrar's Office on Monday, June 1. You must complete the Open Studies Registration Form and return it to the College Office prior to your appointment. You may also want to check the availability of your courses by clicking here.  To change the summer calendar to the fall one, select the drop-down arrow beside the school year and change it to “200910” and the drop-down arrow beside semester to “fall” and then click “change year/semester.”

A Unique Opportunity for College Nursing Students to work as Research Assistants
Researchers at the Penn State College of Medicine are offering a unique opportunity for two or three individuals to serve as recruiters for an NIH funded research study in the Lancaster area.  The First Baby Study (FBS) is a family growth research project looking at women’s health during and after first delivery.  The investigators are looking for nursing students who are interested in women’s health to help coordinate this project here in the Lancaster area.  Click Here for more details.
 
A Great Opportunity to Apply to Lancaster General College’s New Respiratory Care Program!!!
Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health Sciences is waiving the $60 application fee and the $300 enrollment fee for all students applying to the new Respiratory Care program for this fall. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to join an excellent academic program!   Applications must be received in the Office of Admission between May 5 – July 31, 2009.  To receive an application, call the Office of Admission at 717-544-4912, option 3 or download an application.

Upcoming Events
Student drug testing for new clinical students begins July 6 and runs through July 22nd
Students who are beginning their clinical in August should call the College Health Center at 717-544-5354 during the month of June to schedule their test.  All testing will be held at the Employee Health Center in the new LGH pavilion.

Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences is a two-year private college dedicated to the education of healthcare workers.
