Spring Registration for Current Students continues through the end of November.  See the email from the Registrar for the specific schedule that applies to you.  Be sure to visit your Academic Advisor to ensure you know which courses you need for the spring.  Registrar's Office
 
Open Registration begins December 8 for anyone not currently a student at the College.  After November 18, you may make an appointment with the Registrar's Office.  You will need to complete the Open Studies Registration Form.  You may also want the General Education Course Schedule.
 
New Semester Checklist.  This new tool will help all students...new, returning, clinical, and non-clinical...enter each new semester fully prepared for success and fully eligible to attend classes.  View now!
 
Voices of Leadership.  Dr. Lee "Monty" Duke, Senior VP and Chief Physician Executive, is the third speaker in our Voices of Leadership series, presented by the Center for Leadership, Management, and Innovation, in conjunction with the Lancaster General Public Relations Department.
 
Cybersecurity Awareness Month.  Help keep your own information and LG-related information secure at the college, at work, and at home.  If you are reading this on an LG computer, you can get more details here.
 
Sauerkraut Oktoberfest.  Microbiology students are creating Sauerkraut in an annual event based around Oktoberfest.  See more about their experiments in edible fermentation.
 
LGC on Facebook. More than 100 LGC students are now on our Student Facebook site. Our Alumni Facebook site is also available.  Join us on Facebook, and watch for a Facebook-Blackboard interface coming later in 0809.

Accepting Applications for January.  Contact the Admissions Office about January 2009 openings in Nursing and Open Studies.  We are also accepting applications for all programs for August 2009.

Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences is a two-year private college dedicated to the education of healthcare workers. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the College is located in Lancaster, PA.  Admissions is open to students with the interest, desire and ability to pursue a healthcare program. The College seeks individuals who demonstrate qualities of scholarship, motivation and commitment to academic and personal growth.  Academic Programs include Cardiovascular Invasive Specialty, Clinical Laboratory Science, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Emergency Medical Technician, General Education, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Nursing, Paramedic, Radiography, and Surgical Technology.
